War Criminals

CODEPINK is modeling citizen justice (with a splash of pink) by holding the former Bush administration, Obama administration and others accountable for leading us into unjust and illegal military interventions. We know that change will not occur unless citizens stand up for their rights under the law.

Justice for All

CODEPINK is supporting the efforts of Witness Iraq in bringing a lawsuit against key members of the Bush Administration: Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Powell and Rice. In this lawsuit, Saleh v. Bush, plaintiff Sundus Shaker Saleh alleges the Iraq War was a premeditated war against the Iraqi people, with the planning beginning in 1998.

Close Guantanamo

The U.S. prison facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba entered its 12th year of operation on Saturday, January 11, 2014. The prison currently holds 155 detainees with 76 approved for transfer. On January 22, 2009, President Obama signed an executive order to close the camp.

Transparency is critical in a democracy and CODEPINK has been a leading voice supporting those speaking truth to power. We attended the trial and verdict of brave whistleblower Chelsea Manning, and set up the CODEPINK Chelsea Manning Support Network to support her during her incarceration. We also protested NSA mass surveillance and supported whistleblower Edward Snowden.

Bring our War $$ Home

Join us in telling our elected officials that it’s time to bring our war dollars home for real human needs. Since our first White House vigils in fall 2002, CODEPINK has opposed not only the U.S. war on Iraq with its ongoing catastrophic consequences but all the wars and "special operations" that the United States wastes human lives and tax dollars on.

Communities Organizing to Demilitarize Enforcement: In cities across the United States we have seen how this militarized mold of policing and the supply of armored vehicles, assault weapons and the like have resulted in police forces who no longer see their role as one of protecting and serving, but as an opposing army occupying towns and cities across the continent. Visit to learn about our goals and how you can get involved.

Arms are for Hugging

In the wake of the Sandy Hook massacre, we have called for a ban on assault weapons and for background checks on all guns including those sold at gun shows. We need a comprehensive plan to address weapons in our communities and it starts with holding the NRA accountable.

Women Occupy

womenoccup.jpg is a space to connect, share, learn, and build. The Women Occupy community meets once a week by conference call to share our experiences, discuss best practices, and coordinate actions across the occupy movement.

Global Drones Watch: The purpose of this site is to provide useful information about drones, and to encourage people to become active in efforts to stop killer drones overseas and stop domestic drones from violating our privacy and safety.

Justice for Palestine

Boycott Ahava: Stolen Beauty

CODEPINK's launched in June 2009 with a protest at the Ahava shop in the Tel Aviv Hilton. As part of the global Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) Movement that aims to ensure equality, freedom and justice, CODEPINK has focused its boycott efforts on Ahava and Soda Stream, two companies that have manufacturing plants in illegal settlements in the Occupied West Bank.

Boycott RE/MAX: No Open House on Stolen Land

In 2014, CODEPINK launched a campaign entitled Boycott RE/MAX: No Open Homes on Stolen Land, asking the RE/MAX, the Denver-based real estate corporation, to cease its complicity in the sale or rental of settlement properties through its contract with RE/MAX Israel. The Boycott RE/MAX: No Open House on Stolen Land campaign is part of the international Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, a call by Palestinian civil society to engage in non-violent activism by boycotting companies and institutions that are complicit in Israel’s occupation. Find out more at

Boycott SodaStream

SodaStream markets itself as an environmentally friendly product to “Turn Water Into Fresh Sparkling Water And Soda”… but there is nothing friendly about the destruction of Palestinian life, land and water resources! Although SodaStream products are labeled as "Made in Israel," its main production facility is in the industrial zone of Mishor Edomin, an illegal settlement in the occupied West Bank.

End US Military Aid to Israel

CODEPINK, together with Global Exchange, Interfaith Peace-builders, the Fellowship of Reconciliation, and over 100 peace and justice groups, are dedicated to exposing and decrying the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a far-right Israel lobby group. Visit MoveOverAIPAC.Org to learn more about how to take action

Peace in the Middle East

CODEPINK and a coalition of women's groups launched Women Lead to Peace, a global alliance of women and male allies calling for an immediate ceasefire in Syria, an embargo on arms sales, greater humanitarian aid for the refugees and displaced, and the full participation of women at the peace negotiations.

CODEPINK has endorsed the Divest from War online petition, and we urge peace-loving people around the world to sign it, pledging to boycott Israeli products and divest from Israeli government bonds if Israel carries out a preemptive military strike on Iran. Let's prevent the next war in the Middle East by nonviolently raising the cost to the Israeli government of a preemptive military attack on Iran.

Take action to prevent further US military intervention in Iraq! Keep your voice and energy engaged! We have to inspire and motive people to take action if we are going to squelch the drumbeat to more war.
